Facilitates the maintenance of standards for the execution of proceedings and places responsibility over proceedings in the licensed persons

New applicants
  • Application letter to Chief Registrar through Chief Magistrate of your area and through the President UCBA.
  • Proof of payment of subscription fees.
  • Recommendation from a Senior Practicing Court Bailiff.
  • Certificate of Registration of Trade Name.
  • Insurance policy for Burglary and Fire.
  • Completed filled up application form from Courts of Judicature and attach all requirements thereon.
  • Receipt for office rent.
  • Bank statement.
  • Payment of license fees.
  • Passport photographs (3 copies).
  • Eligible applicant must possess a diploma in Law from LDC or other recognized institutions.
  • Certificate of no objection from UCBA Executives.
NB: Inspection of Bailiffs Offices will be conducted by Executive Members.

Renewals
  • Application letter for renewal to Chief Registrar through President UCBA.
  • Bank statement.
  • Insurance policy for Burglary and Fire.
  •   Receipt for office as proof of rent.
  • Proof of payment of subscription and license fees.
  • Passport photograph (2 copies).
  • Members who are pursuing Bailiffs Course at LDC will bring proof of admission or completion of the course.
